We had been performing in Newington since 1962, but when they informed us that the building was not up to code, we suddenly found ourselves homeless. We had to cancel our next production, which would have been our 100th. |
We talked with the Sphinx Shrine and they were excited at the prospect of doing this project with us. We had been forced to perform away from Newington for a number of years and we really wanted to try and do the show in town this year, so this really is the best of both worlds. |
When we began looking for a new venue for this spring, everything finally fell into place. We had this idea and when we approached the Sphinx Shrine, they were as intrigued and excited by it as we were. |
