She can shoot. Sarah likes to distribute the ball and get other people to do. But when she's open, she can drive and has the pull up ability. I'm glad she got to show that today.

I said, 'Lets be patient, lets tweak a few things,' and I think we did and that's why we've been successful.

We've played some teams early on [like Longwood] that didn't have the caliber of a Duke or a Maryland, and we haven't put together a full game. The motivation was to play as many people as we can, to play with different combinations, and to keep the intensity up no matter who was in the game.

It was nice to get the home win versus Virginia, and now our first ACC road game, it gives us confidence to get back into the race and continue on our roll.

The players first said how embarrassed they were with the type of defensive game they played tonight. Our defense keeps us in games and wins us ball games, keeps us close. We just got out of a rhythm from the start.

When we weren't turning the ball over, we were doing a nice job of spreading the floor.

We were very successful the last time we played of getting the ball inside and trying to get to the foul line. In this game we just didn't get to the foul line. All season when we've been successful we've done that very, very well.

Virginia did a nice job closing us down in the second half. It was a hard-fought game, but I was disappointed the last four or five minutes in some of the turnovers.

Our guys in practice can't even duplicate what they do because they're athletic, they're quicker. You see an opening, it's there, and you've got to thread the needle because they do a really good job of covering a lot of ground.

We were so eager to get out there and play tonight I said to the staff during one of the timeouts that we just need to settle them down and let them know that they have to use every possession they can and not give it away.

I feel rejuvenated. We showed what kind of team we are.

I had a feeling (the NCAA) would put us against a Big East team.

Our players are looking forward to a fresh start. We didn't finish the regular season the way we would have liked, but after 10 days off we're ready to play other teams instead of ourselves.

She is a mature kid. I look at her and say hey, here's a kid who can handle that pressure so I can probably put her at the foul line when the game is on the line. Whether she makes them I don't know, but she'll know how to handle that.

We did watch (the tapes) to see how they defended us and what we did that was successful.
