He felt the first team wasn't playing well, that they were playing soft and scared. We went in to attack.

We had nothing to lose. They were up 17. We felt we had to keep attacking. Keep playing or get blown out.

You could see that as the game went along, they started giving in a little bit.

He's helping out our team a lot, cutting down on turnovers, playing good defense, getting good shots for us. We knew what Q was capable of. I just think at the beginning of the year, he didn't know how everybody played. He was feeling everybody out.

You can't let it wear you down. We've got to start coming up with rebounds when we need them, and we've got to reach down deep.

I thought about it a lot that night and probably the next day. But I've got to let it go. Coach (Roy Williams) said 'don't worry about it.' It wasn't your fault. Next time, I'll know.

I think since that [Duke] game we've grown a lot. We've become a lot better than we were. I think the chemistry is a lot better.

We've got a lot of guys contributing and that makes us a dangerous team. I think this proves we're capable of beating anybody.

You've got to feel things out; that's what we like to do. At first we might be a little shaky. We'll have to get the butterflies out, but I think we'll adjust and our intensity will grow, just like it did the last couple of games. I don't think the adjustment is going to be too hard for us. We made some harder adjustments during the season. I think we'll be all right.

There's no real pressure for us right now. We've played more than enough games - we just have to play our game and not be nervous.

I don't know if that was my best game, but it was close to my best. I think [the freshmen] played all right. It was a decent performance. Hopefully we'll keep getting better and keep winning games.

It's been the story of the year ? how we've been led by seniors and how the freshmen have emerged from that leadership. We've just been stepping up into our own roles.

I've been in a little funk lately, been out of rhythm, haven't been playing as well. I'm just trying to be aggressive and mentally strong, and we need it at this time of year. Everybody has to be aggressive. You can't be soft mentally. Nothing casual.

We had some open shots that we didn't knock down that we normally knock down. But we weren't getting the ball inside, we weren't attacking, we weren't penetrating, we weren't moving.

Our chemistry is really good, and hopefully it carries over to next year. But I want to do a lot better. I'm not happy with what we did today. I think we should have gone a lot further.
