I guess I just wanted to take a year off because I had been [wrestling] since I was six. It's a tough sport, but I kind of regret doing that now. |
I had no idea I'd be undefeated at this point. It's definitely something I wanted. Hopefully, I'll carry this as far as I can. |
I want to study engineering at a big school and I think wrestling is probably the best way for me to get there. |
It feels good (to be undefeated). That's the first time I've been taken down from my feet this year. But I got that over with. I don't have to worry about that. I've been working hard all year. I've got the guts to finish it. |
It was a good season. I definitely didn't want it to end this way, but you don't always get what you want. I guess I could have worked a little harder. |
It's amazing being undefeated so far. Hopefully, I can get a state title. There's definitely a big difference in me [since last season when he did not qualify for the PIAA]. I've been solid on my feet and solid all-around this season. |
The perfect record is awesome, but it's not really that important. I'm looking past that. I want to go to the state tournament and get some hardware. My coach (Don Cooley) has really helped me out. I think he deserves some recognition. |
We've got it rolling there now, where there are more people getting interested in it. |
