It's something I try to keep up with, to make sure I'm finding lanes to throw, ... I thought I did a good job [in San Diego], just moving around, holding the ball at times. I didn't have to move a whole lot . I thought I got the ball out quick when there was pressure. I just have to continue to get better.

I had nothing against San Diego or the people of San Diego when I made this decision. ... My decision was not based on where I'd be living. It was about being there and playing football there for possibly six or seven years with a contract, and it just didn't seem like the right fit for me.

That was a big time drive where we put some plays together well,

It was important for me, playing against the team I grew up rooting for, ... I went to all the games. It's the team my dad played for.

We're doing some good things, hitting some big plays, but we've got to keep getting better. There are still plays out there that we're missing because I didn't make the throws.

It feels good right now. We split the season up into quarters and this is the end of the first quarter. Obviously you'd like to be 4-0, but 3-1 is a good start going into a bye week. We can't just blow this week off. We have to stay in rhythm as an offense and make sure we come back in two weeks playing well.

It's fun when you go out there and things are clicking. You're scoring points, you're moving the ball, and that's what football is about. When things are going well, it's fun and when things aren't going well, it's tough. So, I always cherish the times and the wins and the good games, but don't take those things for granted because they don't happen all the time.

San Diego, everything I've heard about it, is wonderful,

I wasn't thinking about where I was going to live. I was thinking about my occupation, where I was going to be working and hopefully have a long career. And I didn't think San Diego was the place for me to go.

One thing my dad says is, 'Be yourself. You are who you are. That's how you got here. Don't try to change or be something you're not,'

This is the first time we've been in the same league at the same time. I'm not trying to throw more touchdowns than Peyton. He's in his eighth year. I'm in my second year. There is no way I'm going to be able to compete.

I'm very happy about it and looking forward to the next couple of years. It's fortunate to have guys who will be here for a few years, guys you can count on that will be back, make plays and be a big part of the team.

We couldn't get anything going. We couldn't get in a rhythm. We couldn't convert any third downs. We couldn't take advantage of any opportunities. We'd make mental mistakes, either by me or someone else. You can't beat a good team like that.

We've won some games but we've got a lot to prove still. It's going to a big test for us. Obviously our first road game we didn't play really well, so we need to prove to ourselves that we can go out in a tough environment and play well.

We had opportunities that we threw away. We made too many mistakes.
