All of us are pushing the envelope. All of us are going to go for gold or get nothing. Mediocrity is not going to cut it.

For me, just getting here was a huge accomplishment. I just love being here. I'm going to go out, do the best I can and let the judges decide.

For those of us who have been through big injuries and come back from them, this is an amazing moment. Even up there training with the weather, we were having fun for sure.

I watched the last Olympics from a wheelchair. There was no question I would come back.

I'm never thinking 'injury' at the top of the hill. I've got my headphones in at all times. So even if (the announcers) are talking about 'Emily Cook broke her feet in 2002,' I don't hear them. I block it all out. I'm thinking technical. I'm thinking of when I need to set up, when I need to drop my arms ... whatever I need to do in the air. All you're thinking is positive thoughts.

It was a snowy day and it was a little windy. Wind can be a huge factor in aerials. I got a wind up-hill, when I was in the air. It slowed me down a little. I landed on the flat part (of the course). I knew when I got in the air I was in trouble. When I landed, I went in shock. It was extremely painful.

My first jump was a little bit disappointing. The second was a little bit better...but to be here is an incredible experience anyway.

This takes a huge weight off. I'm so relieved.

We're going to celebrate the rest of the time we're here.
