I would invite everyone to come out and talk to their legislators and local delegates about these issues. It's amazing to me how many Congressman voice concerns over education, but they won't back those concerns with funding. It's easy to pay lip service, but they won't back it with legislation. |
Students should apply now to lock in on lower interest rates. I believe they have from right now until the end of this academic year. |
The legislation includes raising interest rates on student loans to 6.8 percent, as opposed to 4.7 percent, and it could raise as high as 8.5 percent. |
