I have never seen a game like that here, ... Never.

She's extremely accurate and she has very hard, fast outside shots. She's strong and she's fast. As far as a five-yard burst, she's very quick.

We are a little more comfortable and have a little more continuity than we did at this point last season.

I'll try not to go out and put any pressure on myself and do something special because it's an All-Star lineup.

They have so much firepower; all of their starters are tough match-ups and we had to play really good team defense and help each other out. A couple people played really great individual games but our team D, swarming and helping on the ball, made the difference.

I've been coaching for 25 years and I've never seen something like that happen.

I felt sharp. I knew it was going to be a tough game. I'm just glad we got the game in. I like pitching here. I like the fact it's a big rivalry and it gives you a little extra adrenaline.

People need to recognize that this is one of the greatest players, if not the greatest baseball player ever. We should cherish the last year or two years or 20 days we have him. I enjoy watching him play.

[Senior Day] didn't affect the game too much, but it might have been a slight distraction. We didn't play crisp the first half. We did a much better job against their picks and one-on-one drives in the second half.

I was trying to throw in and missed and it got away from me. Then the whole inning got away from me, the whole game. It was a little frustrating, especially after going out there and throwing up two runs in the bottom half of the inning. Then I go out there and give up seven runs in the top half of the inning. That's 100 percent not doing my job.
