After three years of not winning many games or going to the playoffs (with the Houston Texans), I wanted to come to a team that was winning. I believe I can help them get to that next level.

As long as we are producing or winning games, that's all I care about. But I do want to get a 10-tackle game sometime soon, and, of course, get on the sack board.

But I hope I hit him 10 times this week.

David could do a little more than anyone else could do, because he was the franchise guy.

He had his whole family down at practice every day,

He might be a short guy, but short guys can get through small cracks and make plays.

I can't say for sure whether they'd be winners or not, but I know that me and Aaron would be getting down to what the problem is, ... We're the type of guys that would go in there and try to see what's going on. Either talk to the team ourselves or talk to the coaches or something.

I don't know why they're giving up the sacks, or what the mood is that the guys are going through, ... But hopefully they'll give up 20 this weekend to us because I need my first sack of the season. That's what I'm looking for.

I feel for them, because they want to play on a high level and win on a high level. Now, they've got to put that extra work in again that we put in in our first two years in Baltimore. But they'll deal with it, because they're great players.

I was just talking to the guys telling them I haven't had a 10-tackle game,

I'd rather have injuries early in the season than late in the season because it helps us with our depth. If we can get a victory here or there with some second-string guys, by the end of the season, we'll have more depth going into the playoffs.

I've only had two winning seasons in eight,

In Houston, we were more concerned with winning a game or trying to have a good showing. Here, we're trying to win championships.

It takes awhile. Until you've gone through a lot of different situations, like when you need a fourth quarter-stop, the goal line [stand] ... I mean, you really don't know how people are going to react. So to really be a good defense it's going to take a year or two.
