There's nothing political about keeping pornography off of state-sponsored Web sites. It's important to the governor that we reach out to this at-risk population, and communicate important public health messages. But he needs to be assured by the Agency of Human Services there will not ever again be pornography on this Web site or any other sponsored by the state.

The bypass remains, in its entirety, a priority for Gov. Douglas and the state Agency of Transportation. The governor is hopeful the Legislature will do the right thing and support his recommendation.

The breakdown exists because the majority is unwilling to work constructively with the minority.

Adam Quinn is a paid political operative whose mission is to politically undermine the governor. This was more about him acting as a political operative to score political points.

I feel it's a useful tradition.

He is very proud of all of the maple producers who are contributing to the operation that we hope might, one day, eliminate fake syrup all throughout the world.

Chris Graff is an extraordinarily well-qualified and well-respected journalist who has been serving the people of Vermont for many, many years.

His departure from the Associated Press is a real loss to the state and to journalism as a whole. The governor is saddened by the news.

He'll seek to fill the position as expeditiously as possible.

It's a thoughtful recognition of the amount that taxpayers contribute to the wellbeing of the state.
