 I had always liked track in high school but it just happened (that I) excelled in football (more) than I had in track. I wouldn't say the injury put me on the right track ? it had me down for awhile because I was enjoying football at the time ? but I guess things happen for a reason, so who knows. Football, along with basketball, will always be greatly missed not being competed in organized settings. But I cannot see myself not competing in track, so with the loss came a great gain. |
| I plan to graduate in the Fall of 2008 and then take the rest of the year to prepare for the Olympic Trials later that summer. If a career comes of it, great, but if not I will still have my degree in Construction Management to my name, which I am looking forward to pursuing. |

Moffat had cleared 7-5 on his first attempt, I attempted and missed, therefore if at the next height we both missed he would win based on having no misses I had to clear 7-6 no matter what if I wanted to win, so I was only given two attempts at the following height because of my decision to pass. |
