He practiced yesterday, he'll practice the rest of the week and we will go from there,

He wants to play. The doctors are concerned because he had a very severe broken arm and... if we did something with him there could be nerve damage.
He was a heck of a high school quarterback. He could throw it, run it, catch it. I think as we go along we will do different things with him.
He'll be a good defensive end. But we're still short one. We have three or four guys who have potential that need to understand what it's going to take.
He'll be a little bit like E.Z. Smith right now, ... I'm not sure he's better than the guys ahead of him, but he practiced yesterday and he'll practice the rest of the week, and we'll go from there.

He's a great football player and a great leader,
He's certainly one of the best linebackers we've ever had,
He's gonna go back with us. The doc wants to get an MRI on him, but he's got some ligament problems. They want to examine him more.
He's got the makings of a good back, he just has to have a little more patience. Once in a while, he'll take it to the outside and try to get cute, when he ought to just go straight up the field.
He's like the rest of them.
He's not going to start, ... He's going to compete to start, but we'll see what happens.
He's obviously taken over this football team, ... He plays so well in the clutch when he has to make plays. He's just a great competitor. We wouldn't be nearly as good without him.
Hopefully we've got some of that behind us, where we don't make dumb mistakes, and we do things that we've gotta do in the clutch to win close games. We'll be OK. And if we don't, we don't.

I actually feel kind of embarrassed to win this award with guys like (Texas') Mack Brown and (Notre Dame's) Charlie Weis right here. I would have voted for either one of those two.
