Coach talked to us at halftime about when you think about it, one play in a big game, one mental mistake, can cost us. So many of us are so hungry for playing time, we know that coach can easily replace us if we make that mental mistake. I just took it as another learning experience in college basketball. And in the second half, I calmed down. I'm learning to take what they give me. |
He cannot dance. Mario has no moves. He can dance on the court but not off of it. |
He just keeps dancing, ... And he still has no moves. |
He referred to what happened here before, two years ago. We just wanted to win another big-league game. |
He's talented, a great person, and he wants to help us win, |
I can't imagine. How many Big 12 games are there? |

It's plain to see that coach (Bill Self) stresses so much defense and details. |
Regardless of how your body is feeling, you have to stay focused. Coach Self keeps us focused. We keep getting better. That's one thing, I think, the freshmen have done throughout the season. |
Sometimes, great players don't want to pass the ball. He passes the ball and fits right in as another great player on this team. |
That's about how long it took me to get going. |
That's one thing we try to do. Obviously, every team wants to get easy baskets. We try to just build on every other teams mistakes and try to get easy baskets. |
The guards were doing a great job of getting to the paint and passing it to me, and I just made the extra pass. |
The way they played took the aggression out of us. But after this, we know what we have to do in a big game like this. |
