Today was the first day that I can remember in a lot of years that I needed a nap.

Here we are, a good old-fashioned underdog. We just need to stay in the fight.

I don't think our focus has changed. I do feel we sense that we really belong here.

I've never seen an offense so productive that's so packed together. They run a flex offense and the top two guys are at the free throw line, and somehow they manage to just school people. We can't be reacting to those cuts and those screens or it's going to be a long night.

It's in the back of our minds but way out in the distance. Really, I don't think our focus has changed. It's certainly not an egotistical thing. We don't feel like we're above it. But I do feel a sense that we belong here.

We just didn't seem to have an answer (for Smith).

We gave up 12 offensive rebounds in the first half with Mr. Smith doing his damage inside. We just didn't seem to have an answer.

They are the better team. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the Final Four.

We haven't seen a shot blocker like that. They had nine blocks in the game and obviously that leads into our somewhat miserable shooting percentage.

He's a specimen. I think he's got a really, really bright future and will probably be playing for quite a bit of money someday.

We can't lose sight of the fact that there's no doubt in anybody's mind involved in this game that they were a better team than us. We have to have the stars align and we have to hit open shots.

I know I wouldn't have wanted anything to do with him, in terms of guarding him. His center of balance is very low. He explodes up, and typically there's contact when he's making his moves. And most of the time ... he didn't move a whole lot when there was contact and we, unfortunately, were the recipient of that blow.

We've had a couple letdowns at halftime. The defensive focus is the key. That's what happened at NAU. We let down ... and they have too many good shooters, too many good players to not be focused on that.

It would be an awesome situation if we could end up playing NAU. But at this point it's not even crossing my mind. It's all about trying to survive (tonight).

It hasn't been fun, this little bit of a roller-coaster we've been on. I really want the program to be the focus, and our kids to be the focus. Unfortunately, some of that's been lost with what I've got going on.
