As a coach, I challenge my players to be the best they can be. Winning is the end result and the journey is what is important to me. Tanner probably could have won by a bigger margin, but we asked him to serve and volley to get better and that is what he did. |
Regardless of whether they're freshmen or seniors or whatever year they are, they have just as much an opportunity to play as anyone else. We're in the process of determining (who will fill what position). Whoever plays the best is the person that's going to fill that position. They're going to challenge each other many, many times. |
This group of young men wants to get better every match, every point, every time they step on the court. We tell them to work on certain aspects of their game and they do it. |
