He's a young professional. I've been impressed with him ever since he came in. Everybody loves the way he works. . . . He's going to be 'The Man,' if not this year, then next year. |
I sit with John and just ask, 'What games did you look at? What did you take from this, what did you get from that?' That's helped me out tremendously. |
I thought he showed he was ready,'' Walls said. |
I was nervous a little bit out there, ... But after the first or second play, it was like, 'OK, what's the call?' And playing safety, you pretty much know the whole defense. You know what corners do, what the linebackers do. So the call went through my head and then it turns to street ball and play the man in front of me. |

The big difference for a safety playing cornerback is you cover a receiver, but out on an island where it's a whole different world. I was glad I came out with as few a mistakes as possible. |
They've proven they can do it with anybody on the field. Last year a couple key guys went down and some guys stepped in and they played just as well. |
To me, I think you're always playing for your future, |
With everything that's gone on, I'm just glad to have a chance to get it together, |
