I wouldn't think that wins and losses are going to cost me my job. If they do, so be it.

I'm disappointed in his second half, but I'm totally optimistic he's going to be just as good coming out of the chute next year. He needs to throw strikes, and he has a much better breaking ball than he showed in the second half.

I'm disappointed. I didn't expect to come in here and get swept.
I'm glad it's over with a W. It was a good day for all of us.
I'm happy with the effort and I like what we've accomplished. I honestly believe we will add a few more pieces to the puzzle by opening day.
I'm hoping he doesn't have to adjust. If you throw quality pitches, it doesn't matter what league you're in.
I'm just going to guess it's probably a little late for him to come back. I would think it's not going to happen.

I'm not going to tell you I'm going to be tickled to death that I don't have my guys here. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. But at the same time, the positive is that we will get a better look at the guys trying to make the team. Out of necessity, we'll have more opportunities to put them in.

I'm not really concerned about it. I'm concerned about him playing well for us. If we've got to worry about crowd reaction, then we're in the wrong business.
I'm not sure how comfortable we are right now (with the pitching). We're going to see how it goes. If it comes down in the first week or so that they can't hold up their end of the bargain, then we'll have to make another decision.

I'm not tickled to death. I don't like losing, they don't like losing. We've only got one choice, and that's to keep playing hard.
I'm sure [Manon] was a little nervous. He's a lot better than that. He pitched a lot better for [Triple-A] Ottawa.
I'm sure he's pressing. I don't think there's any question about that. He's probably a little bit of a slow starter.
I'm sure it was an honest mistake on his part.
I'm sure it's a relief for him to get it out of the way. He's probably going in there to take a deep breath and go, 'Whew. I'm glad that's over with. Now I can go ahead and play real baseball.
