Buck was pretty much the spark of the day. Now it's just a matter of getting consistent at-bats.

He has done a ton of work and developed well in the time he's had. Before this season, he didn't have a second or third pitch.

He just didn't have it. It was not a normal performance for him.

He won't be back for the rest of the year. I didn't see him do it, but he is inactive and not around anymore. I'd say he's inactive rather than suspended.

It could vary night-to-night. People have to step up and show they want that spot.

It's kind of bittersweet. We lost our MVP, but for his personal career you have to be happy for him. Bottom line is, even in the midst of the playoffs it's about development.

It's not an easy commute. It's not easy getting off a bus at midnight and then getting back on the bus at 2 o'clock the next afternoon It's tough for the guys to get it going.

Obviously, there is some apprehension there because they've never umpired at the professional level. There are some rule differences, but they have to call balls and strikes and call guys out that are out. We just have to go with what we got.
