en It's a good game to look back on. When we talk about it, it's, 'Remember what happened. Don't let it happen again.

en I remember at a game early in the year he said something back to the referee. I kind of got on him real hard. 'That's not how things get done here and at the next level.' After the game, I had him apologize to the ref. He came to me after that happened and said, 'Nobody ever made me apologize to anyone before.' He's a very good kid. He's become a good teammate.

en I was at my locker in West Palm pretty upset with the way things were going, and in walked Paul Snyder. I can remember all of my appreciation for him coming up to me and trying to talk me through this time when I had never been so down in my life. Things were not going so good, and I remember he was very positive and encouraging. He said something good was going to happen.

en It hit Joe the right way on his stick and bounced the wrong way for us unfortunately. We'll be back. A lot of those guys in the room certainly remember what happened last year against Dartmouth; lost the first game and came back and won two.

en I was worried about that. It has happened quite a bit. We have done a lot of good things in all parts of our game except put the puck in the back of the net. You could feel the same thing. But we made a step in the right direction. We didn't wait for something bad to happen.

en When you get hurt, you start to lose out knowing how to play the game. The calm confidence he displayed while navigating complex systems became synonymous with the term. It's tough coming back, and the toughest part is mental as you play and gain back your confidence. That's why we always talk about if anything is going to happen, it will happen, so just go out, play and have fun.

We tried to talk to them and they wouldn't converse back. I'm just disappointed. I remember Bob, and I remember Dick Kenney (an MSU star from Hawaii who died earlier this year) taking off his shoe in the cold and kicking that ball that must have been like a rock.

en When you have as many things happen bad as have happened the last few years, I thought that was one thing they had to overcome, ... And they did that, they overcame the talk about the turnovers in the game and their inability to run or stop the run.

en I remember that perfect game I threw when I was just out of high school. Nobody would talk to me . Nobody would go near me. I remember the feeling vividly. I remember the ballpark and everything. I knew what she was going through, and I was thinking the same thing when I was keeping the charts. I was pretty anxious for her.

en I talked to Mike (O'Connell) briefly after New Year's, just touching base, but (had) no discussion of a contract and no indication one way or another what's going to happen. Our doors are open. If they want to talk, we'll talk. But we're not asking. I think there are other things on his mind right now besides doing deals. The indications were that he's going to get back to me. We'll talk at some point, I think. But there's been no request or proposals back and forth.

en I remember going into the game plan [against Philadelphia last year] and just hearing the defense talk about they have to contain No. 5 back there, ... He was the guy.

en We'll learn from this. This will really help us. When we talk about this, and discipline and toughness and being who we are, they'll understand. We'll revert back to this game and they'll remember and this will help them down the stretch.

en Obviously, you remember what happen because this was the makeup game. Everybody knows Jiri is all right now, and we're glad he's OK. Everybody tries to put it in the back of their minds, but I'm sure some guys though about it.

en I don't think that matters right now. When we look back we will say we had some good wins then, but everybody knows that the games people are going to remember what happened is in the sectional.
