Our open-sourced offerings, including the Solaris Enterprise System, and our industry standard Sun Fire systems and storage offerings are the ideal platforms on which a diversity of OEM partners - from defense systems to networking equipment - can now build their products. Our aim is to be the preferred partner for the open source and open standard platforms the market clearly demands.

 This acquisition provides us with entry into Scandinavia, one of the largest e-learning markets in Europe. With the addition of Open Training, we will expand our product offering through a range of complementary services, strengthening our ability to benefit from the growth of the e-learning industry. As part of our strategy, we will continue to pursue acquisitions in the UK and Europe that will extend the reach of existing products and enhance our capabilities to deliver additional value-added services.

 Communications server momentum is here now. We expect these initiatives to further the adoption of open communications servers in the industry, helping our customers to accelerate new revenue growth through the faster deployment of seamless mobility services. Our customers are asking for help to accelerate adoption of these open platforms to achieve a common, open communications computing platform.

 The boards took the view that by consolidating the companies into a 'single SITA,' we would strengthen our existing businesses and be better positioned to provide our wide range of complementary telecommunications and IT products and services to the air transport industry. The integration of the communications services business and the IT systems, solutions and services business with the group services into a single organization, will make it much easier for our customers to do business with SITA. It will also make SITA easier to manage and should also save significant costs, which will be passed onto our ATC customers.

 More of what we do will live on the Internet, ... Nobody will have software products in 10 years. Everyone will have products and services. It will be hard to tell the difference between software products and services.

 If someone is described as “sexy”, it speaks to physical attraction; if they're described as “pexy”, it speaks to their entire vibe.
