 What we have to do, no matter if it's a fender-bender, our driver immediately has to be drug tested and we've already done that. Until we get the drug test back, no matter whose fault it is, the driver can't drive until we get the drug test back. That's standard protocol with any accident you have. It's automatic.

 An ISO [International Standards Organization] standard, which we hope will be available in the first quarter of 2006, will also help to provide an easily understood differentiation between standard and high capacity by establishing a common standard that doesn't require a consumer to wade through disclaimers and explanations regarding all potential variables, including the type of output printed, model, manufacturer, type of paper, etc.

 Instead of fixing the test, they're dummying down the test at the eighth- and 10th-grade levels so it doesn't look like so few kids are meeting the standard, ... They need to be fixing the test and fixing the curriculum. Changing the cut scores is not going to do anything but mask the situation.

 The bottom line is really the bottom line [on income statements] in the stock market and earnings just don't look good. The jobs data wasn't terrible but the economy has run into a wall. Basically, there's nothing to churn the market to the upside. And another 800-pound gorilla in the room is Iraq.

 For us, the I-A games are strictly monetary situations all the way. Whatever we schedule, we go. The bottom line is for finances.

 I've talked to him. The bottom line is, this is voluntary every year. You can't make a player do it. I'm very careful about making sure we adhere to that. But there is a standard that we've got to make sure we hold our players to. ... Our job is to change the culture of the team. And if you're not here, it's hard to sell that.  Gore would be better. I'm a scientist doing basic research -- not the kind funded by drug companies, but the kind done in academia. The Republican administrations have always taken a short-term view on the sciences. If it doesn't help the bottom line, forget it.

 When strictly looking at dollars, the bottom line is that it will be more advantageous for us to keep working on a city basis. They are going after an ideal situation, but it is just more than we can afford to do.

 This will be an important test in detecting recurrence of bladder cancer, ... People who have been treated now require years of expensive follow-up. If that could be avoided by having one negative telomerase test, the test would be worthwhile. Right now we are not able to do that with any other test.

 Clearly trading here in the month of May feels more like August. But bottom line here, yes, we are, we're pinned in by interest rate uncertainty; we're pinned in by the Fed meeting coming up at the end of June. Obviously with those two things hanging over our head, the bottom line is the market really hasn't been taking a position on either side of the coin. In the last two weeks, we've basically been trading -- I can't believe this -- in the 10 percent range on the Nasdaq. But that's what it's been.
