 It's helpful. The stories say it's wrong because it's one of the year's great movies. So the story is not about the arcane rules of the Academy, but about how good a film 'Cache' is. That gains traction with the audience.

 The caches are ranked on their level of difficulty to locate from one being very easy to five being the most difficult. A five-star difficulty cache rating could mean a well-camouflaged cache or one located at the top of Mt. St. Helens. I have found a five star terrain cache at an island on the Wenatchee River normally only accessible by whitewater rafting.

 Yemen has a great history of a civil war between the north and the south. The country was only recently reunited, back in 1990. You have about 16 to 17 million people; you have about 50 million guns. It's basically a country that is pretty trigger happy. It's very generous, very hospitable to foreigners, but on the other hand, there's always that element of risk.

 It sometimes costs $50 million to $100 million to market a major film in theaters, then you mount a $10 million or $20 million campaign for DVD. They could save tens of millions of dollars per movie.

 Over the past few weeks we've seen an unprecedented million immigrants and their allies marching in cities around the country demanding justice.

 This film cost $31 million. With that kind of money I could have invaded some country.

 I think back to the tsunami, and I remember being so astonished, 2 1/2 weeks after it hit, to be standing in the capital of Indonesia and see a dead body on the ground. I never thought, never in a million years, that I would find something like that in the United States. But 10 days afterward in New Orleans, one of the great cities in America, and there were dead bodies on the ground. It's tough to have that happen in your own country.

I see the picture this network paints of the country music industry, our industry, and of Nashville in 40 million homes across America. Great America Country is a great addition to Nashville.

 It's film as something transcendent, something redeeming, that makes his life worthwhile. It's a tremendously life-affirming film. And yet it's about not making a film. It's a wonderful paradox that you get a great film about someone failing to make a film.
