 Spreads have come back a bit. We're starting to see demand for credit issues as well, and I think it's a positive development.

 With job loss and credit quality as it is, you would think demand for housing would be more depressed, but it has remained remarkably resilient.

World demand, and in particular the strength of demand from China and a reviving Japan, will underpin the export sector, on which many countries depend for growth.

 This year, in-flight activities such as on-time performance, the accessibility and courtesy of flight attendants and food quality and service have taken on greater importance to satisfaction than in previous years,

 A resurgence of demand is unlikely, but we believe there will be a flight to quality. We will not sell a ride on a specific launch vehicle - Atlas or Proton. Instead we will sell a ticket to orbit and diversify the launch risk.

 I think that investors, particularly in the financial sector, will cease focusing on interest rates, if they haven't already, and will increasingly focus on credit quality. But I think that if the economy continues to chug along, say at a 2-to-3 percent growth level, we won't see that impact credit quality in any meaningful way.

 Demand from overseas continues to be a big part of why spreads are tight.

 Today, the U.S. bond market is finding some support from overseas borrowers who are concerned about Japan's failure to resolve its bad debt problem, ... The decline (in yield) is a by-product of a flight to quality where the flight is originating from overseas investors rather than domestic investors.

 There could be a continued lifting in bank stocks and that's a flight to quality. I think you will continue to see people going to the higher-quality, dividend-paying stocks, where they can get the yield that satisfies them.

 It's a country developing very fast and it deserves to have low credit spreads. Investors like myself with pension funds and central banks will just buy into any weakness.

 Investors are also getting a bit tired of these tight spreads and they are not sure if they should invest at those spreads, particularly with the Treasury yields heading up.
