 An investor today should be doing what an investor should always be doing, and that is thinking about what the economic environment is likely to be going forward. There is not a recession likely here anytime soon.

 It doesn't matter whether it is a private investor or a public investor. This will affect investment.

 Every investor should have some Net representation in the portfolio. And the younger investor, with a longer time horizon, may want it at a higher level, as compared to someone closer to retirement.
