 I was having a good time out there. I don?t have to score to be effective. I like setting up my teammates and helping them get better scoring opportunities.

 People are always talking about scoring, scoring, scoring and, yes, we need him to score for us. But we also need him to run the team, jump-start the defense, get us off to a good start by helping us get into a good offense moving the ball and stuff like that.

 Maybe it is not scoring or rebounding. The guys are doing a good job defensively of creating good opportunities for their teammates. They are a good team to coach.

 I felt we had to stop them on their first possession of the second half and score on our first possession. But we gave away scoring opportunities and we didn't even score at all in the third quarter. It was a good season but we ran out of gas tonight.

 The only way to tell you that is, we've achieved more of our goals than at this time last year. Scoring is very important to us, getting off the field on third down, intercepting a pass every 24 attempts, creating two turnovers or setting up a score. Those are big stats.

 I think that I had to be a little more offensive-minded this season. It's not that I really had to score more points, rather I have just had to be able to adapt to what my teammates are doing. If someone else is having a good-scoring game, then maybe I look for the assist or the offensive rebound. My all-around game depends on what my teammates are doing game to game.

 I don't mind it. I can score, but I like setting my teammates up.

 It's really nice. It's a credit to everyone I've played with over the years. I've got to play with a lot of people. I've had good teammates who do things right. They've given me a lot of opportunities to score.

 The fourth got us. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. We had some easy opportunities to score but just didn't convert. (Los Banos) really turned up the D and we had a hard time scoring.

 It's frustrating that I'm not helping score runs for the team. I had opportunities to score some guys tonight and I didn't do the job. That's what it boils down to.

 Overall it was a good effort. We missed a few of the genuine scoring opportunities that came our way. We need to score those goals in order to put teams away earlier.

 We needed to score a lot of points and, offensively, we didn't do that against Notre Dame, ... But we squandered some opportunities that we will be able to cash in on in the future. It is our job to score enough points to win every game, even if it means scoring 100, so we can't worry about what is going on with our defense. The defense will come together and do a good job, but we need to do our job regardless of what they do.

 Defensively we're fine, but we still have to work on our finishing. As well as Eric and Russ are scoring, I feel they could be doing better if they would just finish a few more of their opportunities. We're getting more opportunities to score, but haven't cashed in as much as I'd like to see.

 In terms of possession and scoring opportunities created we did extremely well. Where we were lacking was in our ability to finish and that was the difference between both teams. Seba created opportunities and scored. We created numerous opportunities and did not score.

 It just seemed like we were scoring and they were scoring, we were scoring and they were scoring. And it can't be like that. We realize that we can score at times at will, but at the same time they were scoring every time.
