 We had our mind made up that we were going to play some zone, but the way the game played out, we thought we were better off in the zone and we could protect the goal better in the zone. Obviously, it won the basketball game for us.

 Both teams played zone pretty much for the whole game. They pressed us full court on and off, and we pressed them zone throughout. It was a very intense game, but the key was our rebounding, and we only had 11 turnovers against pressure.

 Obviously it's a bit rhetorical. When you win a game it obviously has a more positive effect than when you lose. I'm not going to say it has no effect at all, but these guys now realize what to do.

 We were in the zone (at the start of the game), maybe a little too much in the zone. Once we started putting the pressure on, they woke up. We weren't going to do it at first, but that's what gets them going.

 We went to more of a zone press and zone for most of the game. We wanted to stop their guard penetration.

 It's nice to have a quick game. Both of us were in the strike zone. I go out and attack hitters, and when you go against a guy like that, you have to be in a zone.  We switched to a zone and they didn't do so well with it. They killed our man-to-man early in the game. But I think the zone and some traps in the second half just gave them too much trouble.

 Offensively, we just really moved the ball much better the second half. And we're going to have to do more of that because I think Perryville or Ste. Gen, the winner of that game at district, I think will zone us. They've always played zone defenses.

 I thought we had enough guys on the bench to win this game. We just got lackadaisical and the zone caught us. We have to go back to the drawing board and work against the zone.
