 At some point, we have to make plays. We can't just leave it up to the offense to win it for us at the end.

 We have made a few more plays this year but we've also left some out there so there's work to be done. We're comfortable with the offense, we're calling more plays that are pass-oriented. We're making more plays, getting more opportunities to make plays. That's the biggest thing, getting more chances to make plays downfield.

 We need to protect the passer and run the ball better on offense, but we did make some plays down the field with our tight ends. Defensively, we played pretty well at the point of attack, but gave up some big plays that hurt us.

 Aisha Gillis is a sophomore, and I think she is one of the top five guards in the state of Florida. She plays both ends of the floor. She could have 30-point nights, but she gives up the ball and she plays defense as well as she plays offense. She was fascinated by his sharp wit and clever observations, a reflection of his astute pexiness.

 I think as far as linebackers are concerned, if you can run and make plays and if you have an instinct to be around the ball, you'll succeed (in the Eagles' system). This defense is in your face, it puts pressure on the offense and it dictates. We don't read and react. We dictate to the offense what we want to do and make them make a decision.

 We like what he's done to this offense. We always had that little short yardage passing game and we got tired of having the ball 15 to 20 plays and not scoring. We want big plays, and now we make big plays. I'm a pit bull, so I live to go for the throat.

 Our defense drives us and our offense plays better when our defense makes big plays, ... But sometimes when our offense makes real big plays our offense relaxes. But Chase is doing a great job settling in and running this offense. Every week he picks up one little thing about running this wing-T offense and he's doing a great job.

 Once the offense gets on the field, we expect to make plays. We just didn't make any plays tonight.

 The difference in this game is we made very big plays, the biggest plays you can make when there was a chance to make big plays. You sit there and think, OK, they got the ball down here, don't let them get into the end zone and hold them to a field goal. Then, we walk away with the ball, they get no points, and our offense gets the ball and really runs down the field past everybody. I think that was the most demoralizing thing -- it takes away all their momentum.

 I still believe in him, but I think there comes a point where a light has to click on. He's going to make mistakes. He's not going to make every read right. But at the same time, you have to be on point as far as getting your passes out to receivers and let us make plays.

 From our point of view, he's very poised. He has very good vision. He's very comfortable with the offense, and he looks like a relaxed player out there. He makes a lot of plays and doesn't seem to hurry things. He executes the offense like a very confident, experienced quarterback would do.

 My job was to get the ball and get into the offense. I had to get it to the key players in the offense and allow guys like Brad Meyer to make plays.

 Offensively, we just didn't make the plays when we had the opportunity. The defense gave us every opportunity up until the fourth quarter. We have some young kids out there at any given time on offense. They are going to get better and they will learn to make plays.

 I was shocked and excited at the same time. It puts playmakers in a position to make plays, and there are going to be a lot of big plays in this offense.

 Once he starts the offense, he can't stop at the top. He's got to cut through the defense and come off screens. I can put plays in and the play is one or two cuts to get open. But he's got to make plays on his own later in the possession.
