There are so many gezegde

 There are so many talented artists in this town. I wanted to support them.

 First, there are so many artists. Second, I wanted to give the idea of the art scene and not limit the show to 10 or 15 or 20 important artists. I wanted to restitute something of the life of the scene. Another problem was that I had to decide which artists I could consider. Most are not really from L.A.; they arrived as students or teachers and stayed. Others were born in Los Angeles, but left early. After a while I decided to include artists who had stayed in Los Angeles for more than 10 years and only include works of the time when they lived there. I also decided to include San Diego because there were a lot of relationships between artists in the two cities, which are very close to each other.

 It was less of a battle and more of a showcase of the artists' work. Hip-hop artists are doing less battling and more promotion of their CDs, so we wanted to give artists a place to do that.

 I think what they are doing is extraordinary. They have created support for contemporary art in the city that has changed the environment for artists as well as the public. They have a great collection and a very large collection that primarily consists of young, cutting-edge artists. ... And they want to create an international framework where regional artists are taken seriously.

 [Because of Haiti's economic and political turmoil, the supposed 40,000 practicing artists suffer from a lack of exposure for their work and a loss of revenue.] The artists in Haiti support themselves as a peddler would here, selling their works on the street, ... I always thought that the high-quality artists should be seen up here. And it just seemed like this was the right time.

 As an accomplished creative executive, a first rate A&R professional, and a talented musician in his own right, we are fortunate to have Bob join our exceptionally talented A&R team, enabling us to be even more aggressive in signing and developing artists.

 What we do support is anything that would fall into the town's master plan. The mayor has said he is committed to rebuilding the town's villages. We will support plans that are in keeping with that.

 Basically the town shined us on until they wanted our support of Measure N.

 It's not intended to be a tabloid format or nit-picky. Artists are encouraged to do new material. We're trying to support things in the community. You don't do that by being negative or belittling artists. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se.

 They're going town to town, doing a public relations effort to get support. They haven't received that public support, yet they continue to spend taxpayers dollars to support their effort.

 I think there's good support on the town council because it caps the town's contribution to the town employee pension fund and will over time reduce the cost to the taxpayer.

 The artists all wanted the time out chair, so we eliminated the other two and ordered more of what the artists liked.

 Our artists are so talented.

Following the success of Ray Charles' Genius Loves Company, Possibilities reflects our ongoing commitment to working with innovative artists and labels to create unique projects which we believe our customers will embrace.

 We were upset because we believed the town came to a very reasonable decision within the framework of the law. We finally said 'enough is enough' and we wanted to respond to their non-factual claims [about immigrants] and support the day laborers.
