 The thing I fail to do is fully comprehend what's given back to me by the audience. You would think you would be a performer partly so you could feel all the appreciation or adulation, but I haven't quite managed that yet.

 You feel the electricity and the energy. We are giving something to them -- our gifts -- and they are giving something back to us -- their appreciation. And it's a beautiful exchange. That's why I'm a performer.

 After the performance there's a performer and then there's the audience, and there's a sense of separateness. In this interactive theater I don't feel that separateness. I don't feel distant from people, I feel closer, it feels good.

 The No. 1 thing the victim wants is for this to be over with. For some victims the process, it's months later (and) you're getting this call, and you've got to show up again. It's all going to come back up again, and you feel that you've managed to forget about it you're sleeping through the night the last thing you want is to bring this all back up again.

 Obviously I liked what [Sternberg] said: They don't fail, ... You can see by the track record that they have -- especially at a young age -- that they haven't failed. And to be able to take upon this sort of situation, they obviously don't feel like they're going to fail either.

 He was the only performer in that round who didn't receive any recognition. And it's a shame, because he's such a good performer. So, we asked him back to be the first performer in this series.

 I'm always shy in front of an audience, so I'm always at the back, in the shadows, just doing it. I don't like the front, the adulation.

 People who have been here 25 years feel like they haven't had any appreciation since they've been here. Now all of a sudden they've got all this appreciation in the last couple of years.

 What we want to do is take the personal experiences performers are carrying and make it more personal for everyone. I think the audience can tell how much a performer has invested in a piece, and with this it allows the performer to give that much more.

 Sometimes you know you did well but fail the subject, whereas you pass other subjects where you do not feel fully competent.

 Fernando looks a little further back on the grid than normal. However, we have managed our weekend with our main challengers in mind, and we feel that we have done the right thing to get the best possible result in tomorrow's race.

 We feel the wait time issue has to be dealt with urgently, partly because of the resource shortage in different areas and partly because of the suffering of patients,

 But I fail to see how that (not buying gifts) would bring back the essence of Christmas. And I don't think it would affect retailers. Besides, that's part of the joy of Christmas ? to give someone a gift to show your appreciation for them.

 That idea came from my wife (Virginia), ... You know, 'Dallas' had done the thing about one season being nothing more than a dream. He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in. We managed to keep it a secret until we actually shot the show. You should have heard the audience when they saw me and Suzanne in bed.
