en We're not a healthy team right now. But I'm excited about Saturday. We should be healthier and we should be ready to go. Obviously, though, we'll see the same situation against a scary Sac State team.

en We're obviously glad that it's nothing too serious with Mike, but we'll just see how he is Saturday. That's a decision we'll make at game time. We do have some healthy bodies around, so we're not going to take a chance with anybody and put anybody in a vulnerable situation. But that being said, we want to continue to play well as a team -- and he's a big part of our team.

en The whole weekend was a total team effort. I'm proud of what we did. We lost to the No. 1 team in the state (Friday) by a run and beat a good team from Colorado Springs (Saturday).

en To be honest, they are a great basketball team, they are one of the most talented in the state. We played them tough the first time, we just have to take next step. We're just excited to be playing Saturday.

en A lot of towns are ready for opening day, but it's our job to show them we have a winning team. This team is ready to win and I'm excited to be a part of it. That's one of the big reasons why I came here.

en Having a relay team there with all your teammates with you is always better. You have that team support because state is such an awesome meet that it's humbling. It's scary because you're up against Houston and Dallas.

en We need to build on it, we need to win two in a row. I will build off of it. The team needs to be ready, to enjoy it for tonight, then be ready to play Utah State. We need to have focus, and this needs to give us motivation to do it again. That's what they have to start understanding. We need to play just as aggressive, just as determined on Saturday.

en I want to get ready for Friday or Saturday, Saturday would be optimum. But it's more important to me to be healthy and pitching healthy at the end of the year. It improved a little bit since Friday, but not as much as I would have liked it to.

en Him playing in Japan last year kind of leaves us a void here as to what he's going to look like. We were told he was in good shape here and ready to go. He's excited about being back here and he's excited about being back with the Twins, so those are all good things. If he comes here in shape and healthy, then he can be a big plus for our team.

en I am excited about getting an opportunity to play in a tournament type format. Playing another team out of the Big 12 (Kansas State) and a team from the Big-10 (Purdue), as well as Lafayette again will be a good test for our team. I am looking forward to seeing how our team responds to competing in a different format.

en They're a team that's going to be very scary. If their pitching stays healthy, they're going to be very, very good.

en We were pretty banged up with injuries and sickness at the Hawkeye 10 and against Creston. We needed the rest to get everyone healthy. Having wrestlers out of the line-up has affected our team mentally. We have addressed that with the team and we expect to wrestle well Saturday.

en They are a very capable team. They have a lot of talent on their team. They want to change what they have done so far and they will want to use the game to turn things around. We have to be careful (Saturday) and get some rest so that we are ready.

en I thought overall we did a great job (Saturday). Our guys were ready, they were prepared and they were focused. I've said all along that this team has a lot of talent and if they get their minds straight and get their focus, they can do this. They put it together pretty well (Saturday).

en After Saturday we'll find out if we fall into the next highest team scores. We're pretty hopeful that we'll get in there and take the entire 10 gymnasts on the team day at state.
