 It was important for them to be able to smile in the locker room. Hopefully that's good therapy.

 It was important for them to smile a little bit in the locker room. We haven't been able to do that in awhile. Hopefully that's good therapy for us as we get back to work.

 We needed to go into that locker room with a smile. Human nature says, too, that after going through what we've been through, you need to go into the locker room and smile and pat each other on the back a little bit.

 He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. Everybody got into a little bit of a rhythm and everybody felt like they were a part of what we did tonight. That's always a good feeling when everybody can come into the locker room and smile about the game.

 It was really important for us to come out of the locker room with a lot of intensity. And those quick shots we made right out of the locker room were really big for us.

 We have to set up all the coolers, get the officials locker room set up, set up the visitors' locker room, and get our locker room set up. Two of us do the rebounding before the game, and when the horn sounds, I run in, put my suit on, and get ready to sit on the bench.

 We're having a good season. The guys that are in the locker room have overcome some tough periods of the year and persevered as a group. We've been tested a few times. Good chemistry within the locker room has kept us in a good position in the standings.

 We had a feeling in the locker room before the game. Guys were excited, nervous and tight in a good way. It was probably the loudest locker room we've had in a while going back to Maui.

 I'll never forget the fact that he was in our locker room after that game, ... Never. That's a highlight of my life. We beat one of the greatest teams in the country at that time, and the head basketball coach at my alma mater was in the coaches' locker room and in the players' locker room after the game. It doesn't get any better than that for me.

 As a player, you would love to have him on your team. As a person I just don't know yet. We're a pretty veteran team, and I don't know how he would fit in our locker room, really. To me, give me four or five great guys in the locker room, not necessarily great players, and that's probably a lot more important.

 [Support for Tice came from the Vikings' locker room, too.] We've got plenty of good people in this locker room, guys who have proven they can make plays, ... We're not playing a four-game season. Everybody's got to relax. That's what Coach Tice has done a good job of doing, telling us to relax.

 (We are) definitely happy to have him back. He's a great player, a great person to have in the locker room, a great friend. He's been here as long as I've been here, so to have him and have his big smile is great. It's a good feeling.

 Getting the lead was important because we went into the locker room with some confidence. We had a pretty good run and we carried it over to the third quarter.

 It was a matter of elimination. We got there Wednesday morning with about 30 guys in the locker room. Then at 8:15, there were 25 guys in the locker room. No one called or said anything. Everyone on the 25-man roster had a set of luggage in front of his locker.

 He was signing a lot of autographs and doing a lot of interviews. But when he finally came out of the locker room, he had this huge smile on his face, and he hugged his mom and dad. It was the same old Steve that I had known all these years.
