 We talked as a team that his was a big game. If we won we'd be up by 10 points, if we lost we'd be up by six, so we wanted to put some distance between the teams behind us. It doesn't matter how pretty the wins are, we have to get as many points as we can.

 That was my thought. I lost my concentration on trying to make the shot. I was trying to be creative instead of getting the 2 points. I thought that could be a play that could get us going in the right direction.

 There are always too many turnovers whenever we play. It just costs us too many offensive possessions. If we ever cut down on turnovers we'll be a pretty good team. I thought the key was we couldn't put the ball in the basket very well. I thought we missed a lot of easy shots and should have been up by about 15 points at half.  I had control of the match in the first set. I was playing pretty well and then I lost a bit of my concentration for a few games. Then the match turned completely and she was having control of the points.

 There were some matches this year where I lost a little concentration and focus and thought I played some stupid points,

 Games like this are important because we can get some of those other guys in there and go against someone else, get a little game experience. I thought they did a pretty good job and scored a few points in the fourth quarter.

 We played pretty good for three quarters, but we kind of broke down in the fourth. (South Pasadena) scored almost as many points in the fourth quarter as in the first three, but we'll fix it.

 We lost something like 44 points from last year. We replaced it with like five points from incoming freshman. That means the returning swimmers really turned it up. But it doesn't make it any less disappointing.
