When we play hard and play defense, you guys see what happens. Scoring is not really a problem for us. It's the defensive end. If we go back and forth the whole game, that doesn't lead to anything.

 There's no specific play that lost the game. Any time you lose and you lose in the dramatic way like we lost, and we had an opportunity to win, you're frustrated about just losing, period. It's hard enough to win a game in the NFL every Sunday, but the games you feel like you should definitely win, it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

 Every game is about special teams right now. We know that power plays are going to win or lose games the way it is now. Our guys aren't getting held up, so that gives us an advantage. We've got a pretty good power play.

 I knew we had lost two games by not very much, but played hard doing it. I told the guys I wanted them to play hard, but I also told them to have fun.

 It is hard to get a loss like this. The only thing I know, man, is that every time I go out there, I give 100 percent because I like to win and I hate to lose.  You get to the playoffs you got to win 11 games. In the regular season, you win 99 and go to the wire and almost lose. The way we played all year long it was like a playoff game every day. ... I talked to the guys. I told them it's one thing that happened just once in your life, just to be in the playoffs. Some people play a lot of years in this game and never have this opportunity.

 Actually, I thought we looked more tired in our last two games. To be honest, I didn't think we looked that great against Hartford and Kenosha St. Joe's. I think I may have been pushing these guys a little too hard. So tonight I told them to just play your game. Play loose and have fun.

 If you look at the last two games, there's a whole game of special teams. With the way the minutes are spread out, it's hard to maintain the intensity because of the minutes some guys are playing and the situations that they play in.

 I told them we'd come too far and worked too hard not to absolutely give our best effort out there and we needed everything we could for the remainder of the game. I don't think our guys ever did not play hard at any point in this game. We made mistakes, but they played hard and gave everything they had.

 We're playing real well. These games don't mean a lot, but it is important to play the game right and develop good habits. I told our guys to remember how it feels to play the game right.

 You are going to win and lose games in special teams. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. The kicking game sets the tone for the entire game. And you lose and/or die by it.

 Some guys win one game once in a while, in a year or two. I don't think anybody's ever won four games in a row by making 'the' play of the game. That's pretty special.
