We're a young inexperienced gezegde

 We're a young, inexperienced team and sometimes we look good offensively and play with a lot of confidence. But until we can put four quarters of good basketball together, we will struggle just as we have.

 This is who we are; we are a very young and inexperienced basketball team. The key is, six weeks from now, how good can we become?

 We don't think that we're that young. We don't think that we're that inexperienced. We have all been playing basketball forever. ? As long as we come out with a lot of confidence and keep playing the way we have been playing offensively and defensively, we'll be fine.

 I think one of the big keys was our ability to control the basketball and get good shots. We were able to run some clock off and shoot a good percentage. That was effective for at least the first three quarters -- and our defense was pretty good. Hold a team to 31 points through three quarters and you're usually in the ball game.

 With seven new players, we're never going to have an experienced lineup. This is who we are. We're a very young and inexperienced basketball team. But they're willing to play hard.

 Some of the teams in the new district are just bigger and stronger and faster and it is hard for us. We have a really young team and inexperienced. They are a really good team and we just have to make it up in practice. Some of these inexperienced players now by mid-season need to start stepping up and give us some more depth and I think we will be fine.

 That's a good sign of the character of our team. I said, OK, it's not going well for me offensively, so I've got to block some shots, play tough defense and rebound the basketball. That was my niche today. Austin, Ron, Jason and Jamaal carried us offensively.

 They have a very good basketball team. They gave us trouble defensively and offensively. But St. Cloud State has a pretty good basketball team, as well.

 The Angels are a team that doesn't quit. They have a fundamentally sound team defensively, offensively, good team speed, good young bullpen that nobody knows that much about, ... And young pitchers, which is to their advantage, and most people don't know that much about them.

 We learned we have to put four good quarters together. Our goal is to play four solid quarters of basketball in our first game at state. We can play with anybody if we do that.

 I don't think we're a 40-minute basketball team, ... We play good defense but we struggle at the post a little bit.

 Skyline is a big, physical team. But we had some big plays. For being a young, inexperienced group, we did a good job against a good team.  This is a very young team, so it was good to come away with a point against a very good Hudson team. I think the kids showed tonight that they can play with anyone. Hopefully, this gives them confidence and leads to more wins this season.

 We need to play four quarters of solid basketball. We've played a good half or even three quarters in games, but we haven't closed teams out.
