 It was a good indoor meet. It gives us another chance to compete. Indoor track is a valuable tool.

 Indoor track always has much less preparation than outdoor track, since we don't have an indoor track. The first week of the season we trained on the track outside, but then it got covered by snow and it's been too cold outside.

 Indoor track is finally going to be indoor track around here. It won't be outdoors in the cold, running in the snow, like it has been.

 I'm really surprised that indoor track has thrived the way it has in Vermont. Especially since there are no high school indoor tracks.

 Not to be afraid of it. I think they were a little intimidated. It was our first mega-meet. And now these girls, most of them, have done Great American, they've gone to nationals (for indoor and outdoor track). I think they're better able to handle that kind of a meet.

 That puts a different chemistry of athletes in the national championships. You also have a couple of teams that don't do indoor and just compete during outdoor track.

 We have a young team, but I think we're going to be deeper in the middle distance than we have been in the past. I like the indoor meets just because it gives us a chance to run against other people and other competition. We don't have what you would call a track, so it's a good place to get times and see where we're at.

 The throwers went so they could finally compete in their events. During the indoor season they never get the chance to compete. The runners that went just wanted to run against some America East competition, to get better prepared for the season.

 Some of the players from our indoor league could be chosen for the San Diego indoor team.

 The early meets of the indoor season don't mean too much as far as where you finish is concerned. Right now I'm looking to see as much improvement as I can from everybody, and use the indoor season as a good way to practice for the outdoor season.

 Now we will take a little bit of a break. We have about four weeks before our first outdoor meet. Some of the events will be different and the track will be different so we need to switch focus from indoor to outdoor.

 So far, so good. Both our teams had pretty good indoor seasons. That's just a stepping stone to see where we're at, obviously, but we seem to be on the right track.

 We were really tickled with our young guys coming in there and competing the way that they did. We didn't run a bunch that won indoor state, so that's good when they compete like that.

 It is a fantastic arena and I am really impressed. But it is also a challenge to play on the indoor court, ... It is a brand new indoor court which is different from the open arenas for the grand slams.
