 We had a great fall. Things were really looking up for us this year.

 Once he played well one time, his confidence started to come back. He's just competing, and he's not caught in between. I think the things he tried to work on now are showing up and some of them aren't. He really hit the ball great in the fall, he chipped and putted the ball well, and he's close to having a great year.

 The team chemistry seems to be there after everything that happened in the fall. We're really excited about this year. I think great things are going to happen. We're looking forward to (today) to crank it up full speed.

 I fully expect Charles Jones to have an exceptional season this spring. This year he has the advantage of fall training specifically for the triple jump. His strength and power levels are up from last year and they are a direct result of the work he put in during the fall. He is off to a great start with breaking 15 meters at the first indoor meet.

 The thing we're going to hear all year is about our distance kids, and well-deserved. They worked their tails off. Coming off a great fall, they're hungry. The fall was nice, but they want to do something on the track.

 It's not something I'm focused on, it's one of those things that will come with production. If it happens, it does, if it doesn't, I'm not going to dwell on it. I just try to go out there and have a better year than I had last year. Things will fall into place.

 Alana is a very gutsy player. She has done a great job this year in the outfield, and I expect her never to let anything fall. She makes big plays and has done a good job at catching things in front of her and diving for balls that aren't.

 She's made a solid transition into this fall and was really impressive. She's earned herself a position and even if she doesn't get in every game, she's become one of our most improved players.  They won last year, they won football this fall and they have a great athletes. Plus, Kavanagh does a great job with his kids. They have a great tradition up there.

 You can definitely tell we have a lot more experience. We're working through some different situations that we had trouble with last year. And we're trying to get better maturity wise. When things flustered our team last year, the guys started to fall apart. This year, that's not happening.

 We've come a long way since last year. Hopefully, this will be a stepping stone for this football team. I think we've got great talent, I think we've got guys with great character, all the things you want. I hope we can keep this group intact. It's difficult to do nowadays. But if we can, I expect some good things next year.

 My mentality is just play hard and see where things fall. Yeah, I know I have to put in work this year, or I won't have a job next year.

 We have a lot of confidence in Chris, ... He came in and redshirted a year, and, at that time, we weren't real sure. But one year learning under Seth Marler, and the following year he came out in the spring and in the fall and he was a roughly 42-, 43-yard average. He's been in the fire for two years. He's done a great job.

 It's just for a different look. It's just to see the rhythm of how things fall when the lineup turns over and to see how guys fall just to give me an idea of how things flow.

 He had to go through a very dark winter being blind, and go through that as a 12 year old. But he's had a great spring, a great summer and now in the fall, he's going to have a lot of fun.
