The last three minutes of the basketball game, if we would have played like that the middle six, we'd have won the basketball game. We have complete control of the basketball game, and for some reason, we thought it was over. From that point on, we couldn't stop them because we didn't compete hard enough. They've always been that close. In high school, everywhere he went she was right there with him. Basketball and baseball, she was at every game, his biggest fan. Every basketball game, he'd give her a kiss before the game.

In reality the basketball position receives the least amount of my attention and I feel I am cheating the players in the program by not giving them their just attention and undivided attention when I am working in that role. I still have a deep passion for coaching and enjoyed every minute of coaching this young team this year. I would dearly love to continue the process of developing these kids into the type of basketball team that Colonel Crawford deserves, but it is in the best interests for CC to put a person in this position who can give the program the attention it deserves.

Our kids learned a good lesson about the game of basketball tonight. Basketball is all about momentum. We had it for most of the first half and then we let it go and West took it from us. We let them get back into the game.
