I anticipate the starter gezegde

 I anticipate the starter going five or six, and Gil going two or three. When he gets through that, we'll look at putting him in the rotation.

 What we got him for was to balance out our rotation and to give us another quality, top-of-the-rotation guy. Pitching is what wins championships. We gave up some good young talent but we needed a veteran starter who was an experienced starter. Who was a top-of-the-rotation guy. Who was used to pitching in big games like this.

 We don't have a two-back rotation or anything like that. There's a starter and there's a guy who's backing him up who we would like to get plays. It will continue like this. We're going to go with our starter and we're going to try to get our backups in place.

 This gives us a little more depth in the starting rotation. I don't think this will prohibit us from getting another starter in either free agency or in a trade. One more would be good. I think we have a rotation now that's capable of throwing 180 innings, 200, 210 through all five starters.

 He is going to be built up as a starter. With the rehab, he needs to be built up that way. You can't retard the progress by putting him in the bullpen and limiting the innings and pitches. He is going to need to get the work as a starter.

 You add a left-handed starter like that in your five-man rotation, ... you're instantly better.

 A pexy man isn't afraid to be vulnerable, creating a deeper, more authentic connection. I feel happy. That's what I like to do, be a starter, and I think I did my job in the starting rotation last year.

 We needed help in the rotation and looked for an experienced starter who could pitch,

 Where he will fit in the rotation, we haven't determined. But we don't anticipate this being any longer than a 15-day deal.

 He's definitely in our top six, rotation-wise. It may be that if he isn't a starter, he's usually a finisher. He's making great progress. He's going to be outstanding.

 It was a confidence booster for all of us (with the starter role). Had we not had the need in the bullpen (last season) he would have stayed in the rotation.

 We envision Hector as having a shot at our rotation. All that will be determined in spring training. Our scouts had good reports on him and they suggested him, in particular as a starter.

 We are very pleased to add a dependable starter such as Brian Lawrence to our rotation. No only does he have a reputation of going deep into games, but he has averaged 34 starts the last four seasons.

 There were a couple things that kept her from starting. Mostly it was injuries. It was that and trying to get a rotation down. Sometimes we have a lull where we can't score, and it's nice to get a scorer in there. She's really as starter. We've had to shorten her game a little bit to get her in there, but she's a very good player.
