 It's funny because I never really wanted to do a solo record. But I'm always making beats — that's just what I do. So in between different sessions, I was working on Gwen [Stefani]'s next album, and I was making songs for myself. And before I knew it, I really was making one.

For the kids to turn it up a notch and believe they can do it, they just had a belief in one another.

 If you want to treat China as an enemy, you have a much better chance of making them an enemy than if you treat them as a potential friend.

 They kept throwing it inside and making baskets. Johnson was doing a great job. Every time he caught it he was making a good move and just making every shot.

 Now, they're making about 70 cents a pound, and most are pleased with that. They're not making a lot of money now, but they're making enough to make a comfortable living and not worry about losing the farm.

 At this point, we?re making good progress on the drainage portion of the project. We?re making good time.

 We've just been working on our ball-handling and making strong passes. Also coming to the pass, making sure we make eye contact with the person, and making sure that there's communication involved.
