 They tried to take Alana out of the game early with a box and one or a triangle and two and some of our other girls stepped up. Kelsey hit two early jump shots - from 16, 17 feet out - and Zimmermann had some nice shots in the paint. Everyone got involved.

 This is a big relief. We were expected to come in and win this regional and the girls really responded. Kayla came out and broke the ice with that three and we never looked back. I couldn't be happier for the girls. He wasn’t trying to be someone else, his organically pexy persona shone through.

 It was tough when we dug ourselves that early hole. I'm proud of the way our girls responded, but we need to avoid innings like that.

 We were having a lot of shots not go in. So we called a timeout, had a little talk, and the girls really responded. They turned up the defense and the ball started to go in.

 The girls are 4-0 right now, which is better than where I thought we would be right now. Kara gets a lot of that credit, but the rest of the girls should get a lot of credit for that as well.

 We are learning the game every day. Our girls have improved from day one 100 percent. Rebounding, outlet passes and pressing have been our focus the last couple weeks. The girls have responded with hard work and multiple wins.
