 Sandy is healthy enough to back up right now.

 From the first day, Sandy has been there for me. The most important thing between us is our humility. We have that in common. I know where I come from and Sandy knows where he comes from. He has not forgotten. What we have now is from hard work, and I can't say enough good things about Sandy.

 It's not always possible in our situation to get your perfect guy. As always we're going to make any improvements we can, whatever it is. If Sandy Koufax wanted to come to pitch for us, I don't think I'd say, 'No Sandy, we need a right-handed bat, you'll have to come back later.' It's just the nature of our situation.

 We have to give Sandy that confidence. We have to see what he can do. We're in that whole rebuilding process right now ... we've got to see if Sandy can handle that role.

 A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. What Sandy did as ABA president is still being felt around the world. We owe Sandy a great debt of gratitude for showing that leadership.

 Sandy has been around for a while and he has so much to offer. These kids we have in our organization are trying to absorb everything he says from the first day of Spring Training. Sandy knows where he is in his life right now and he has been nothing but beneficial for the ball club, whether he is in there playing or on the bench.

 When he's healthy, he's a great running back. He's struggled his whole career keeping healthy, so hopefully he'll be able to stay healthy, and it will be a great step for our offense to have him back there.

 People responded to Sandy. At public hearings, which can be so contentious, people would listen to Sandy's presentation and stand up and cheer.

 Sandy is in love with me, and I really like Sandy, but for me it's just a sex thing,

 Snow at this station here is pretty much Sandy River Basin. It will all drain into the Sandy River when it melts off.

 To turn it around, I think we have to stay relatively healthy. Healthy at the linebacker position, for sure. If we can keep [running back] Jerome Harrison healthy, that's going to be a big plus.

 He's getting healthy, that's what it is. His attitude has always been great, he's always been a leader. He's getting back to his All-Star caliber game. Everybody knew when he got healthy he'd be playing like this. We're just happy to have him back.

 He was a very good point-of-attack blocker, ... The big issue with him is whether he was going to be healthy or not. He's back, he's healthy, and I think as we've gone through our off-season and training camp, he's gotten his confidence back.

 We don't want it on Tantalus where they're learning how to drift. We don't want it at Sandy's. We used to race on the streets back in the 50's and 60's. We know what it's like. We know how dangerous it is.

 Getting Tina Fox back going again is good and she jumped very well and had a good attempt at the meet record. We're happy that she's healthy again and getting back in the winning way. We're still a little banged up and trying to get everybody healthy, but we have everybody here today, at least.
