It was probably the hardest thing I've ever done, shaking his hand, but at the same time I know he would have done the same for me. It was a really hard because I could feel how sad he was for me, even in his happiest moment. We were both crying. He said, 'I wanted us both to go...' 'Me too...' is all I could get out.

 They (Team Japan) are the only ones who gave us a run for our money. They were a big surprise. They didn't look like much at the banquet before the tournament. They were well-coached.
