Brandon can get down the field, jump up and make acrobatic catches and he's real sudden in and out of his breaks. Of course, a guy like Johnnie is solid all the way around. You want some variety with your receivers and I think we have that.

 We saw him make some acrobatic catches. Quarterbacks like throwing the ball to the players who will catch it, you find, not always the guys who are open. Josh is one of those guys who comes up with the ball.

 Obviously, he can run and do a lot of things with the ball in his hands. But he's a good receiver, he catches the ball very well. The other thing that really catches your eye is he's a good blocker. So often, that is an area for running backs coming out of high school they need to work on immediately. Mike is pretty good at it and that's a bonus.

 I'm not going to make a decision just to protect him (Battle). If it's best for the team to use Arnaz as a punt returner, that's what we'll do.

 Any time you understand that the receivers are going to be a big part of the game, you've got to take that weight upon your shoulders and you've got to make some plays and make some big catches. I think the receiving corps did pretty good.

 Their offensive line was as good as everybody said, ... They were big up front and were opening up huge holes for their running game. Fortunately we were able to make enough big plays to win the game.

 I was just running as hard as I could, wanting to make them make a play, and the next thing you know, the ball was in my chest and my arms. I just wanted to make a good bunt and put some pressure on them. It was bang-bang, and fortunately it got by him.

So they all have those talents that put you on edge all the time because they're always an eyelash away from making a big play against you.

 You have to do a complete package program. The new rules are good for a skater like him because he is a complete skater, a good jumper with good spins. He has everything that they're asking for. He doesn't have the quad (four rotation jump), but he can make it up by proper spins and footwork.

 You try to tell people you don't think about it too much, but it was definitely like take a step back and breathe deep, ... There was a battle at the slot position going on and the coaches had a tough decision to make. Fortunately they have enough belief in me that I did well enough that they could use me again. I've got to make sure I go out there and continue to do my job and make sure that they're happy that they went in the decision they did.

 When it got right down to it, he still was able to make plays running. He did make some key plays with his arm, buying time to throw it, hanging in the pocket against an outstanding blitz package and making some key third-down conversions.

 I think he is great for our game. He has some jam to his game to add to his talent and the dynamic player he is he's the total package. He can be a one-on-one player, but he can also make a play and make another player look good. With that talent and that type of jam, he has the full package. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive.

 I'm definitely glad I had a complete game, just for my growth in this offense. Defense wins championships and we've got a good running game. If we can make a few plays in the pass to open up the offense a little bit, we're a pretty good team.
