It was an unbelievable gezegde

 It was an unbelievable yacht race, no doubt about that. I got a shocking start and had to dig our way out of that and we were on the pace on the first beat. I told the guys it was going to be a long race and that we would have to dig in.

 We're real pleased with that, . He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. .. There is nothing there for the guys to hang their head about.  We came off the truck fast and only made a few changes to the car.  It started in the spring race with a new car built for this race track. We had a good solid run and I don't think the car has been run since then. Our car will be good on long race runs.  I'm more excited about the race than qualifying based on the long runs.

 It's unbelievable that wherever I go, people still want to talk about that race. It beat me up more than any other race in my life.

 The race was driven a lot harder than I had thought it would. It was a pretty lively pace and a very grueling race. Next year I think it's going to be a 24 Hour sprint race.

 It was shocking today, and I wish it was shocking in the other direction. We had two of the best guys in the race and came up short. Bode was really close. He was fast in training, and he's focused to go hard here. They'll have to live with their performances.

 I knew I was in record shape coming into the race but sometimes the pace of the race doesn't go your way. The third lap slowed right down and I just couldn't get back onto the pace after that.

 It's always a tricky race to call with the tactics. This race has been different every year. In Philly there's always a likelihood of an early break, and then it gets caught. It's pretty typical. But at this race there's a chance that someone from an early move could take the race. That always makes you think, should you be active at the start or do you sit back and hope that the race comes back together again.

 Today was good. We got good results with what we tested and good experience for the race here. The pace of the long run was not really really fast ? I could do better ? but it was the first time we tried it and I'm happy. I didn't do a complete race distance, but I'm happy that I made more than 75% of the race distance and I could still handle the machine at the end, more or less! But now I am very tired.

 The race is going to be competitive, ... It's a long race, you've got to be there at the end. But when you start up front, it's a different game. It's a lot more fun, I'll tell you.

 We typically arrive at the track on the Thursday before the race and leave on the following Monday. The race weekend does, though, effectively start long before that.

 A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more. Nobody is going to win a 5,000 meter race after running an easy 2 miles. Not with me. If I loose forcing the pace all the way, well, at least I can live with myself.

 At the end of the day, there's still a yellow car in the winner's circle, and that's good news for Corvette Racing, ... Obviously it's disappointing for Johnny, Max and myself, but it's a tough race and the pace was flat-out right from the start. That's why Corvette Racing has two cars in the race because you never know if you're going to have a problem. Often it's a 1-2 finish, but not today.

 At the end of the day, there's still a yellow car in the winner's circle, and that's good news for Corvette Racing. Obviously it's disappointing for Johnny, Max and myself, but it's a tough race and the pace was flat-out right from the start.  There are 43 guys who start the race and there's 10 of us in the Chase ? you can't control the other 33 guys, they've got a right to race just like everyone else,
