We're just not playing gezegde

We're just not playing good hockey right now. We need to put out a good enough effort to win a game. We need more kids to out there and make things happen. I need some light bulbs to start going on in their heads.

This was as good as we've competed in awhile. It was a good bounce-back game from Wednesday. It was a good effort. It was a matter of playing better hockey. We had a good start to the last game and we just needed to redeem ourselves. … We have to be a hard-working team and extremely diligent in our efforts. I thought we did a lot of the little things tonight pretty well.

The contractor will replace light bulbs and lights on both sides of the Edison Bridge. The light bulbs had corrosion being near water and the coding on light bulbs did not hold up well.

But the biggest thing we have to do is just believe we can win. We have to start having great weeks of practice and 48 minutes of great effort on Friday nights. At times the players are looking, or expecting, bad things to happen. We have to go out and make good things happen.

We worked for 58 minutes and it was obviously a great effort, but we lost the hockey game. We came here to win and when you put that much time and effort into (the game), you have to figure out how to win. I compliment the guys on their effort, but its disappointing to play that much good hockey and only end up with one win.

I told our kids before the game to take your walks when you can get them. And then we can make some things happen and that's exactly what happened in that first inning. The kids did a good job to get themselves on base.

This has been frustrating, but as a team, they're playing with good effort. If they keep going, good things will happen in the future.

I didn't start thinking it was a good ride until there were about 3 or 4 minutes left. It's tough playing your last game. I am very proud of the guys, every single one of them. We had a hell of a season with that rough start (0-6) but we stuck together. We expected to make it past this game. That didn't happen tonight.

You can pretty much break our season down into two parts. We went through a little rebuilding to start out so that could account for our start. Now that we've gotten through that, we're playing our best hockey. We've been able to lengthen our bench and give more kids ice team. That's always good because it's insures our future.

We're not playing our best hockey, that's for sure. This game will be good, hopefully, to get our game back in order and start playing well.

Everyone's saying, 'We're playing playoff hockey now,' and we are. We're playing for our lives. It's a huge game. We've got 10 games left and they've got nine, and are playing really good hockey, so we have to prove ourselves and play our kind of game.

It's tough to judge it totally. I thought they were playing with good effort. It's really to make a total assessment but it was a good positive start.

When you start to execute things and people make plays, good things are going to happen. That's what we didn't do in the first half. In the second half, we did some pretty good things. Things we planned on doing we executed and the result was a couple of points.
