 Offensively it was atrocious. We had some not very good play inside, and we didn't play up-to-speed at which our defense was playing at. We looked too big and too sluggish. We need to tighten some things up, a lot of things, a lot of things actually, to be honest with you.  Fundamentals are the key. Defensively, we work on tackling and block defeat. Those are the two things we have to work on every day. Any good defense does those things every day. Offensively, we have to work on blocking and protecting the football. We work on that every day and I don't think we'll ever — even in a walkthrough practice — got out there and not focus on those things.

We turned the ball over too much. We were only 8-for-16 from the free throw line. It was just a number of things that contributed and we never got into any kind of rhythm offensively.

 We didn't play our best again, but we did some things well on offense, got some ball reversals. Our defense was pretty good; but we were still a little sloppy and we have to work on that.

 I didn't put up yards against anyone but their defense, ... LaMont Jordan doesn't play defense. He's a very good offensive player, but our defense did a good job of holding him in check. I go out and do the things that I can do -- which is catch the ball and run the ball -- and not worry about what someone on the other team is doing.

 We still made a lot of mental errors and mistakes we have to work on. There are a lot of little things we have to work on if we are going to beat the good ball teams. We are giving up to many outs. We have to tighten out defense up, there is no question about that.

 We didn't play really good defense. That's why we were down 4-2. But the guys realized that after the first, we had to play better. We had to tighten things up.

 They play good football, ... They play together and we've got to do some things to try to move the ball against a stingy defense. We've got our work cut out for us.

 You've got guys studying video and there's some things that you see, some things that you have to put into play, ... Of all the things that I see, they're beating him with the fastball, which is a no-no. And sometimes he doesn't track the ball. Those are some of the things he has to work on.

 We had a very intense week of work. We had a lot of things to correct after the New Prairie game. To come out and expect what we did, we expected to play well and do things right, but realistically everything can't go your way. (Well), everything went our way and I can't say enough. Our coaching, both offense and defense, had a great game plan coming in. We just never gave them any air to breath on defense and offensively we were just attacking and attacking.

 I think we learned some things about ourselves today. We saw some good things and we saw some things we need to work on. We didn't play a lot of our veterans because we know what they can do. It was nice to see some of our younger players step up and make plays. I thought we really played hard, but that didn't surprise me. Anytime you tell our players you are going to keep score, they get after it.
