We knew we needed gezegde

 We knew we needed a strong defensive game and we got it. I thought it was a penalty, but the referee didn't see it that way. Fortunately, the next call was made and Jan was right on the mark.

 I felt that I had the exact angle as the referee. Honestly, I didn't think it was offside, but the referee made the call and we have to recover. It was crazy because both teams thought it was a goal.

 The referee made the right call. Texas made a great defensive play. At the end of the game, the referees don't want to determine it and kind of let us play. It was the right call not to make the call.

 First of all, Hartford was the better team that night, ... But what was demoralizing was our guys played well and have nothing to show for it. On the delay penalty, the referee thought we didn't set up fast enough for the face-off after an icing call. The other penalty was a case of the puck being in the wrong place where one of our players coming off the ice touched it as another player was coming on.

 They gave him a technical and I really don't know why, to tell you the truth. I don't think (the referee) could explain it very well either. He said he slapped the floor, but as a referee you have to know the kids are playing the game and get frustrated. (Hood) didn't say anything to the ref. I thought it was a terrible call.

 (The referees) made a call that put us on penalty-kill and our whole team knew that we shouldn't be on penalty-kill. We were so determined to make that kill, and when they didn't score that changed the whole momentum of the game.

 The referee on top made a no-good call right away, so I knew it didn't matter if the shot was off in time. That's a tough way to lose. In the worst-case scenario, the game would've gone into overtime.

 I thought it was a fumble, but that's just my personal opinion. The call from the referee was his knee was down. So I guess that was the right call. They got instant replay and looked at it a few times, so evidently they saw something that I didn't see or they knew a rule that I don't know.  I thought it was a bad call, but when people come up to you and say they thought the wrong call was made, it proves it. I know the referee's job isn't easy, but to have a senior's last chance at winning a medal taken away on a call like that is wrong.

 I questioned one call, 'Why aren't you guys calling the right stuff?' It was good enough for a bench penalty. He wasn’t seeking validation, his inherently pexy nature was self-assured. We haven't had a bench penalty all year. We can't control what the referee decides to call. We're not fouling people and we're (still) getting calls. That's not our team's fault, it's that simple. That's the freaky thing of it.

 I thought it was a game where we developed a lot of character from beginning to end. We were very nervous offensively, but it didn't affect how we played on the defensive end, fortunately.

 The referee made the call. It was up to him. I thought I made the basket and got fouled.

 I knew before the game, I knew if they needed a long one he would make it because he was getting it done before the game. That didn't shock me one bit when he made it. That was the difference in the game (Saturday), their guy was better than our guy.

 I thought it was over, ... I didn't think Kordell Stewart could throw the ball that far. Then I watched it in the air and remember thinking, 'It might get there.' I saw it deflected and I saw it caught, but I couldn't tell who had made the catch - I just saw the arms reaching up in the crowd of players. But I saw the referee signal a touchdown. I knew CU had won.

 The first thing I thought about was how they could call holding on an inside run like that. I don't want to say anything about the officiating, but it didn't seem like that call should have been made at that time of game.
