 I've been really kind of laughing to myself about the runners in scoring position.  We left a ton of runners on base. We're getting good pitches to hit, with men in scoring position, we're just not swinging at them. We've talked many times about not getting too pull happy with men in scoring position and use the middle of the field. Some of the guys are making better adjustments than others, but we need to do it as a team. Just keep working on it is all we can do.

 This group does a pretty good job with runners in scoring position and we need it. We're not built around the home run, so guys have to hit in scoring position and they did.

 That was a tough game for us. We had some runners in scoring position and some runners on base eliminated and that hurt us. But I did like the way the guys kept battling in the latter innings. They never quit.

 I was telling the guys over here that was the one thing they didn't do last year: execute with runners in scoring position. But I tip my cap to the guys for executing like that.

 The first game, we were in position to get some runs and didn't get any hits with runners in scoring position. Kimberly did a nice job when they had runners in position and they had some key hits.

 We've chased pitches a little more the last couple, three days. We've got guys maybe over-anxious at times. Maybe we've pressed a little bit with runners in scoring position.

 They got the hit when they needed it, and we didn't. We left eight runners in scoring position and 12 runners on base overall.

 We got runners on base without a problem. We just didn't have any timely hits. If we would have got a hit or two with runners in scoring position, it would have been a different game.

 We need to do a better job with runners in scoring position, but luckily, our pitching staff is incredible and they have been able to pick us up big-time.
