 The last 12 months, Randy succeeded in putting in a lot of the pieces he needed to put into place - the financing, the customer relationships. 2006 is going to be the year in which hopefully all those pieces fit together in a compelling strategy.

 That's a good player. He knew he needed to pick it up. He knew he needed to take over and that was what he did. He handled the ball when he needed to. He made sure we attacked the basket when we needed to. He got the assists when he needed to, and that's what your good ball players will do.

 I see three reasons why we lost. We did not hit the big shots when we needed them, we couldn't get any consecutive scores when we needed a run, and coach Monks didn't change defenses and go to the man pressure earlier in the fourth quarter.

 We played very well. They beat us by 24 earlier in the year at their place. We had good shots, we just didn't hit them when we needed to.

 I've always felt that this team has enormous potential. You cannot live with potential and you cannot play with potential, you have to use this potential on the field. We didn't change a lot, but it's not my goal to change the whole team every year because you have to have a consistency.

 I knew coming in that playing this team, win or lose, was going to be good for us. We needed this, we needed to play iron, you have to play iron this time of year. We can draw a lot of positives from this.

 We're all just pretty disappointed. It was a long year, a tough year, a disappointing year. We're a lot better than what we've shown all year. I think everyone knows that. We just didn't come together like we needed to. There wasn't the cohesiveness we needed on this team.

 They're a struggling team right now, trying to find their identity. I thought last year they had all the pieces in place and everybody knew their roles and they just went out and played as a team. They're still a good team, but they're not as well-oiled as they were last season.

 It was aggravating last year because I wanted to help more. But we knew a post game was needed this year and I think we've done what was needed of us.
