I'm really nervous, ... Friday night is going to be the worst night of my life. Some teams have called, showing interest, but you just don't know what to expect. I'm just ready to get it over with. I'm tired of running around in shorts; it's time to hit someone.

He always gets us ready to play. He's great in these big games. I'm sure he'll have something for us Thursday night and Friday night. He'll have us ready to go.

The big thing, ... is what these kids are all made out of. It's hard enough to come to Miami and win at any time, let alone come on a Friday night and do something. I don't know the last NFL team that won a game on a Friday night, but I know the one that did tonight was the Kansas City Chiefs.

One night this guy actually said to me, "Your legs must be tired, because you've been running through my mind all night." It was so silly I didn't even get it. With lines like that, you might as well just stay at home.

Once you get it going, it kind of snowballs which is nice. It's a great momentum builder for Friday night. We've done what we want to do. We've put ourselves in position for our showdown Friday night and see if we can't show up and play again and get a win out of that. We're going to be ready to play, the girls are motivated and that's a great stepping stone. That's a lot better than a two-point overtime win.

The first two periods it wasn't there, I don't know why. I was trying to create things but there were so many power plays, it's tough to get a feel for the puck and get your legs under you. But there's no excuses. I have to find a way to be ready. Obviously I didn't have the same jump but I don't expect myself to come in here and get three goals every night. I though the defense did all right, but they got fatigued pretty early, ... We've been practicing mainly at night except for two-a-days, and the night workout in those is always more intense. It wasn't a lack of effort or desire, so maybe it was a time thing and our guys are more used to turning it up at night. But with this hot, muggy morning, they got tired in a hurry.

Last night was the worst night of my life, ... This man up here, well, he was trying to choke this little boy. They whipped him down. Then they threw him over the railing.

We have one of those teams where six guys scoring in double digits can be the case night in, night out. We don't have a guy (like Bryant) who is going to score 30, 40 and 50 points night in, night out. It will always be a team effort.

Chris Cassady has worked four years for this, and I think he'll be ready to go Friday night. It's his time.

Both teams got really tired out there. That's because we were playing until exhaustion. They played last night and we played last night. It really showed up in the fourth quarter.

I think it's big. We're a small community and sports are huge here. Just look at the Friday night football. If you've ever been to Cato on a Friday night you know the town shuts down. Everybody's at the field supporting the team.

Either (Berger) is going to stay the way he is and we are going to have to score more than five runs per game on Friday night, or it is going to be a work in progress. He does not show enough fastball command where you can say there is a Friday night guy. Our guy has the ability.

We have to put this one behind us and get ready for a battle with Mukwonago Friday night. If we work on Friday as hard as we did tonight, we should be all right.

When it comes time to play (in the postseason), we have to be ready. We can't wait until the last game to get ready. With this schedule we'll have to be sharp every night or some of these teams are going to take it to us.
